Root Cellar Sanctuary Fallout 4 Mod

Root Cellar Sanctuary Fallout 4 is a mod that transforms Sanctuary Root Cellar into a fully finished basement that allows you to build in. Additionally, its Workshop is connected with that in Sanctuary so all items from either will appear both there and here as well. Ideal for sheltering from Radstorms or providing your companions somewhere to go while working on other projects, but keep in mind this still does not count as a settlement; nor can settlers be sent there, though building is unlimited with no building limits whatsoever; though I hope future updates can address some minor bugs as well.

The Root Cellar is a manmade underground shelter built by Jahani under an adjacent property two houses up from his House of Tomorrow in 2287. He could not reserve space in any Vaults so instead created his own shelter complete with single bed, Safe, pre-War foods scattered about, as well as an extra large Duffle Bag cache on top.

This mod provides a relaxing environment in the early stages of the game for the player to rest and rejuvenate themselves during gameplay. It works well when used alongside mods that alter shop menus or allow items to be placed anywhere such as Fadingsignal’s Campsite or Homemaker; furthermore there is also a power conduit in back of house which houses Root Cellar that gives out only two units of energy; not enough to power even one Turret but nevertheless helpful as a starting point.

Root Cellar can be found at the rear of a house, just prior to entering a cul-de-sac in Sanctuary Hills’ northeast section near Wild Mutfruit plants and close to Sole Survivor’s House of Today. A terminal known as Novice can be found in yellow house at curve of cul-de-sac; an Advanced locked booby trap safe may be found under dresser in blue house nearby; several gold bars can also be found scattered about Sanctuary’s buildings or safes.
